Branch exists to remove friction from pay and replace it with freedom, flexibility, and control. As the company evolved, the brand needed to do more than look modern. It needed to clearly express what makes Branch different: a belief that instant pay is about more than speed. It’s about dignity, agency, and empowerment for working Americans.

In a crowded fintech category dominated by feature-driven messaging, Branch risked blending in.
The existing brand didn’t fully reflect the human impact of the product or the company’s deeper mission to support workers in real, tangible ways. Internally, the team needed a clearer narrative and visual system that could scale across industries while staying rooted in the worker-first mindset that defines Branch.

We partnered with Branch to reframe the brand around a single, unifying idea: an empowered workforce is a force to be reckoned with.
The refresh began with a manifesto-led approach that put people, not platforms, at the center of the story. From there, we built a visual identity system designed to feel confident, optimistic, and human. Bright, vibrant photography celebrates real workers. A flexible color system supports industry-specific storytelling. Clear, approachable typography reinforces clarity and trust. Every element of the system was designed to scale while staying grounded in one core truth: faster pay is a tool for empowerment, not just efficiency.
